This Concept-to-launch phase involves activities such as preparing a project plan and a design document of the complete product. This is followed by a completely coded, tested and packaged solution with installation and release documents, as an alpha-ready product.

The alpha-level software is then deployed at the customer site and progressively moved through to a beta and final release of the solution.
