Quality Assurance Manager, GIS Software Engineering (position in Redlands, CA):

Manage, through subordinate software engineers, quality assurance testing with regard to geographic information systems (GIS) software applications. Manage the design, development, and execution of integrated (business, functional, and technical) quality assurance tests for use in evaluating GIS software applications. Manage troubleshooting with regard to GIS software applications and, as necessary, the engineering of appropriate “fixes” to such applications.

Must have a Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Geoinformatics or a related field and three years of experience in: geographic information systems (GIS) software engineering; and the design, development, and execution of integrated (business, functional, and technical) quality assurance tests for use in evaluating GIS software applications; or a Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Geoinformatics or a related field and five years of progressive experience in: GIS software engineering; and the design, development, and execution of integrated (business, functional, and technical) quality assurance tests for use in evaluating GIS software applications
