Monitoring Services
- Provide remote day-to-day operational support for the SAS Software (LASR, Office Analytics, SAS VA)
- Monitor SAS application components and services and collect metrics
- Applying new license files to SAS servers
- Proactively respond to any alerts resulting from SAS monitoring agents/triggers/events
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SAS infrastructure including performance
Change Management Services
- Installing SAS hot fixes, license renewal, security patches and configuration changes
- Modifying SAS software configuration settings due to any infrastructure changes and get the SAS environment up and running fast with minimal business impact
- Coordinate with SAS support as required
User & Security Management Services
- Managing the users, groups and roles on SAS metadata in sync with Active directory and Kerberos
- Managing the filesystem permissions of the directories in the SAS servers
- Level 2 SAS user support
Provisioning Management Services
- Managing the SAS solutions inventory (code, reports, stored procedures, OLAP cube, libraries, information maps, scheduled jobs etc.)
Metadata Management Services
- Metadata access and user management
- Metadata data integration administration
- Promotion of metadata objects between the environment
Continuity Management Services
- Backing up SAS solutions inventory (Metadata, code, reports, stored procedures, OLAP cube, libraries, information maps, scheduled jobs etc.)
